Abstract Ultrathin and broadband metamaterial absorber with loaded four lumped resistors is proposed analyzed. The reported design based on increasing the absorptivity by reducing reflection transmission coefficients simultaneously. Therefore, continuous metallic ground used to achieve zero while reduced matching impedance of free space (Z = Z 0 or μ r ε ). Additionally, electric magnetic resonances are achieved simultaneously perfect absorptivity. finite element method simulate analyze absorber. suggested shows higher absorption than 90% over large frequency range (14.35–29.18 GHz) for both transverse polarizations. Further, has high through incident angle variation from 0° 50°. good potential applications in communications, stealth imaging fields.
